Old van at Prora ...

On my way to Drem station I noticed this old van. It has lots of character, so it was worth spending some time having a look and taking some photographs.

Hanging around an old van on a nippy day in winter has its moments, but having some material to work with always makes it good fun. Although I did a whole series of shots to have a first bash at photogrammetry, there were a few that came out nice, especially slightly under saturated. The results of the photogrammetry are definitely not worth sharing. Although it did work, there were substantial gaps, so we'll have to give that another whirl.

If anyone has any idea what van this is I would be much obliged. It looks very much like an old Matchbox model I once had.

Yorkshire Ices, in a comment on Flickr, tells me that this is a Commer Karrier BF from late 50s or early 60s and wondered if it was for sale. Sadly the van has now totally collapsed.
