During our holiday in Greece we stayed in a charming old apartment in Karatza Street, just south of the Acropolis and at the foot of Philopappou Hill. In the corridor of Villa Olympia, just inside the building, were (are?) these lovely floor tiles which I gave digital life here in the studio to fill a little corner on our Yulemasfest card. However it's worth showing a little more.
This place in Karatza Street is something different. For us, this will always be the eccentric, but quiet, English hide-away in a very busy city. It's good to see that Carole is still in business at Villa Olympia and perhaps we should go back one day soon (just to make sure what that corner tile looks like).
